The Sunset Ranch Motel opened about 1952. The Park n' Eat restaurant was located next door. The motel was on the south of side of Route 66 near Weiss Airport. Airport owner Gene Taylor also ran the motel. The motel site was later the Fenton Inn, and is now a Super 8 Motel.
